Set cover photo in Google Plus profile!
Recently Google Plus made some cool changes to their profile system. They added a side tool bar like feature which contain all main options acting like a vertical navigation bar. Chat box is embedded into the web page on right side with extra added colours giving awesome look to the profile. Hangout button is placed right over it which gives special preference to it. One newly added features is cover photo. It like copy of Facebook cover photo option. Google Plus also released this option for Google Plus profiles. It looks like the one which is show on the top of this article. If you have not set your profile cover pic yet, this post will tell you how to do that.
Steps to add cover photo in Google Plus:
Step 1: login to your Google Plus account
Step 2: Go to your profile and you must see your profile page something like this.
Step 3: Click "Edit Profile" button in blue on top and then click "Change Photos" option.
Step 4: As soon you click "Change Photos", a new window will pop up. In choose template option, select the 1st box.
Step 5: Now, click "Choose cover photo" and upload your favourite picture as cover pic in your new Google Plus profile.
Like this, you can choose any picture to set as cover pic which should be atleast 950px wide. Another thing which I don't like about Google Plus cover picture is its size. On cropping the picture after upload, you are left with a very small proportion of image to set as profile. So only those pictures which are less tall but much wider can fit the ned for Google Plus cover picture.
